Installer FairPhone Open sur FairPhone 2 avec Debian 10
Pour une raison que j'ignore encore pour l'instant, mon bon vieux FairPhone 2 s'est récemment mis à ramer avec lenteur. Je soupçonne deux ou trois apps... mais en attendant de tirer tout cela au clair, comme il y a une nouvelle mise à jour disponible de FairPhone Open, je vais tout simplement l'installer fraîchement sur un FairPhone 2 que j'ai acheté pas cher en réserve pour les pièces détachées...
Manual installation (using fastboot)
- Download the manual switcher package.
- Extract the manual switcher package (it is a regular ZIP archive).
- Boot your phone into fastboot mode (hold the Volume Down button while you power on the phone), it will display a still screen with the Fairphone logo.
- Connect the phone to a computer using a USB cable.
- Execute the flashing script : on any GNU/Linux distribution, make sure that you have “fastboot” installed from your package management system, and execute the flashing script by typing “sh flash-for-unix.sh”. If you have not installed “fastboot” using the distribution package management system, you need to prefix the command above with “sudo”.
- The on-screen instructions should appear immediately and guide you through the installation process.
- When the installation finishes, press Enter to reboot the phone into Fairphone Open.
